Lisburn Community Fire Company
- When: Saturday, October 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Rain date on October 11)
- Location: 1800 Main Street, Mechanicsburg
- Details: Enjoy food from the pavilion, browse kettle corn and fire tent items for sale, and take part in free activities and games for kids. Watch demonstrations by fire, EMS and police, and explore vehicles during touch-a-truck. Veterans and first responders will be honored at noon. The event also features live music, free parking and more.
New Cumberland Fire Department
- When: Saturday, October 18, from 12 to 6 p.m.
- Location: 517 Front St, New Cumberland
- Details: Live music by The Apelandears, Neil McClain, Swisher Sweets and Jonny Bull will set the stage for an afternoon of dancing, beer, food, vendors and the world’s largest baby race. Proceeds benefit the New Cumberland Fire Department.
Northeast Fire & Rescue
- When: Thursday, October 30, from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Location: 202 Third St, Enola
- Details: The fire department will open its doors to the community for tours and will serve free hot dogs, one per person while supplies last, along with candy. Visitors can also see the mid-stages of the new station.
Silver Spring Community Fire Company
- When: Friday, October 24, from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Location: 6471 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg
